Life gets easy if we stay rooted to our history and culture and what better way to be reminded of history than to visit historical places around the world? These monuments, structures, and natural wonders are usually photographed with cameras. How about using a sharper image drone for a change? One that can take a bird’s eye view images and footage and capture from an array of angles. Here are some suggestions:
Taj Mahal, India
Built in Aagrah in the 17th century, Taj Mahal is a symbol of pure and undying love. The Emperor of the time Shah Jahan had it made for his deceased wife and what a tribute he made. Just look at the finesse of the construction and the luxury of the marble, you will feel the love in the atmosphere.
This is the most visited site in Jordan and the most eccentric too. The whole place was carved into a canyon and the structure just befuddles the brain as to how centuries ago something of this sort was created. It was not so famous until 1812 when it was apparently discovered by a Swiss explorer.
The Colosseum, Italy
This site can easily be a great muse for a sharper image drone. It is massive, archaic and gorgeous to say the least. It shows the glory of the Romans and for a minute you just imagine yourself among the crowds shouting at the bloodthirsty gladiators. You can do a wide pan and capture the whole arena even its surroundings. Make sure to do it when there are not too many tourists.
Great Wall of China, China
You will perhaps need a long-range drone but the video you will produce will be awesome. Why? Because this wall is awesome and the way it sits between the green hills. It was built to provide protection but now is one of the wonders of the World. It goes to show the intricate and heavy labor engineering that must have gone into it.
Angkor Wat, Cambodia
The best time to use your sharper image drone for capturing a video would be at sunrise when the sun peaks through the many ancient temples. This temple ground is a reminder of the Khmer Empire and the significance of religion for them. The carvings on the walls and pillars are mesmerizing, to say the least.
The Pyramids, Egypt
When we talk about history how can we forget pyramids? The Giza city has over 3000 years old pyramids that are an engineering mystery to this date. Your focus should be on the Great Pyramid but there is so much there, you will probably need replacement batteries to capture everything. Their presence amidst the heat of the desert is an experience in itself that you will never forget.
Now, with ultra-high definition drone cameras like in Dragon’s quadcopters, it is quite possible. You will be producing 4K videos that can truly capture the beauty and essence of these places.
